Shane the spoiled. I’m not sure why, but I imagine a bit of a spoiled kid, and I know a bit of a pompous adult Shane too.
Leo Gregory the anything! I think this name has a lot of good things going for it! The combo is pleasing and could describe someone who is artistic and/or stable and/or ambitious and/or outdoorsy. Leo is easy for a kid to spell and others won’t ever have trouble remembering it. I like this a lot.
Sebastian Gregory the long lost brother. I always think of Twelfth Night when I hear the name Sebastian--the lost-at-sea, well-loved twin of Viola. It’s a favorite name of mine. Maybe not as full of possibilities and fewer assumptions as Leo Gregory, but a sea-faring, athletic, caring alternative.

Shane Gregory gmv. So romantic and handsome. But then all of the choices answer that description. Shane seemed the least used right now so that’s what I went with.
If Gregory is honoring, what about using it as a first name, with Rory as the nickname? Gregory Shane, nn Rory? Just a thought. Good luck! :0)
