Baby Name Poll Results
Mackenzie nn Kenzie vs. Elenora nn Nora or Elle vs. Aurora nn Rory
Hi its Jessica and Peteragain- We made a poll earlier about naming our sixth child if its a girl. (Benjamin- nn Benji for a boy). We said that I wanted a long name with possible shorter nick name. We got some great suggestions and came up with one of our own so please vote to help us get it down to a winner.
Adeline(addie), Tessa(tess), Christopher(chris), Theodore(theo) and William(Liam)- please keep them in mind when voting!
The Top Baby Name is...
I love the nn Alexis nn Lexi. For a boy I like Alexander nn Xander...that would go well with William Liam because the nn comes from the end of the name instead of the beginning.
i like Elenora nn Elle best but i think it should be spelled Eleanora, i like the others but Mackenzie doesn’t really fit in with your other kids names and Aurora is getting way popular atm
Well as grand as that comment is it doesnt make any sense... all the other kids have nn from the begining and william and chris are twins not william and the new baby.
Our heart realy is set on Benjamin too.
Alexis is a very nice suggestion and ill give it some more thought
Thanks a bunch
Aurora. It’s classic and nice like your others.
I love Eleanora but I prefer Eleanor more.
I like Elenor better two but then you cannot use Nora as a nn.
Eleanor - sure you can. You can use Ella, Ellie, and Nora. Just like people use Lexie for Alexandra and Maddy for Madeleine. Also Rory for Aurora. If you go by that standard, you would have to call them Lexa, Made, and Rora.
Eleanor is a favorite of mine. I’ve always loved the nickname Ella. I’ve never liked Mackenzie, and I can’t picture calling an Aurora in everyday life because all I think of is my favorite movie, which is why I can’t use it.
Eleanor Mackenzie (Though I hate this name)
Love the name Elle very sophisticated yet girly
