Pamela?? vs. for our little vs. girl?
What do you think of the name Pamela for a little girl? She’s due October 9th, and i absolutely love the name Pamela. If you don’t like the name, please suggest something different! Our last name is Crieson (cree-son), and my husband is worried that Pamela Crieson sounds too much like Pamela Courson, Jim Morrison’s girlfriend. I personally have no idea who she is, but apparently she died of a heroin overdose and he doesn’t want her name to have bad connotations. Do you think this will be a problem? We were also considering Reine, but were not sure. We completely stuck on middle names!!! Help! Thanks,
-Lauren and Brandon

I love the name Pamela. I don’t think the Pamela Courson thing will be an issue since most people probably don’t know who she was.
Might I point out that Pamela Kiersten Crieson sounds a bit odd, don’t you think?
yes, an oversight..
I LOVE Pamela! It is a great name and I have never heard of that person.
What about Pamela Paige Crieson, Pamela Marie Crieson, Pamela Elizabeth Crieson
I’m sorry, but like a lot of others, Pamela Anderson is my first connection with the name, not necessarily bad, just saying it’s something people from our generation are going to recognize.
Jennifer Lauren Crieson
(your namesake which I thought was nice)
i really don’t like it as a first name for a little girl but if you have to use it, use it as a middle name, i have no idea who any of them people are but i still really don’t like the name, what about
is Reine like Rain? i like it i think that would be much better than Pamela, but if you still love Pamela you could always use it as a middle name, also i like
