It reminds me of the old television series Sisters where each girl had a feminized version of a boys name. There was Georgiana nn Georgie, Theodora nn Teddy, Francesca nn Frankie and Alexandra nn Alex. There was a fifth sister from an extramarital affair (it was television drama) named Charlotte, nn Charley

I prefer the nickname Gina but it is cute. Georgie just reminds me of the nursery rhyme "Georgie porgie".
