Not a fan of masculine names on girls, it never feels anything but awkward...as nn for Aurora or Lorelei I could see Rory in the same boat with Sam for Samantha - Lorelei Catherine is gorgeous, as is Aurora Elizabeth

Rory is a nn for Loralei, Aurora or Roberta! Why does it have to be considered masculine? Ugh, that drives me nuts!!

It is a traditional male name that’s why it’s considered so, even means red king. Same reason we don’t name boys Maxine despite the fact it has Max in it.
