Boy names on girls vs. Just a trend vs. All names will become unisex

I didn’t realize how many girls are given masculine names these days until I started looking for a name for my baby. Has this been happening for a long time? I have a feeling that in a few years when all of these kids grow up and get married...couples names are going to be for example, Hayden and Logan or Kayden and Jayden or Blake and Dylan. We will think two boys are getting married. Is this just a trend or will all names become unisex in the future? What is your prediction? I am not bothered by this but I think its rather interesting. I had my daughter 13 years ago and I named her Samantha but she has always insisted on going by Sam. Had I named her just Sam she would probably hate to be called that. I’m just glad her name looks like a girl on paper so there is never any confusion. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Help! I love the name Guinevere, but I can't think of a really good brother and sister name for her. Since Guinevere is so empowering, I want the next names to be powerful as well. Thanks, Genie!
Baby Name Genie:
You seek the Holy Grail of names. Let me help you in your quest. The brother of fair Guinevere will fight on foot with swords aplenty, but on his horse he'll surely lance a lot. Name him Edward for a regal name. A sister could be dubbed Katherine if greatness is what you desire.
