Alice vs. Marilla vs. Ida vs. Diane vs. Sandra vs. Julia vs. Cordelia

Please tell me the kind of girl/woman you imagine when you hear these names (there are 7 of them). I know some people really dislike "old" names, but I grew up with what was, at the time, a really bizarre "modern" name and I hated it, so I want a classic name for my baby. Thanks!

Alice: quieter, studious, polite, long hair
Marilla: cheerleader, but not catty or prissy (maybe Millie as a nickname?)
Ida: hard-working, but secretly athletic
Diane: sweet, gentle, caring
Sandra: silly, not very academically-inclined, personable
Julia: sweet and gets along with everyone, but studies hard and puts school ahead of socializing
Cordelia: very formal, has a matron of a mother

Alice- A very beautiful woman who will marry Prince George.

Marilla- A woman who is going to be a very strict preschool teacher and scare all the kids away.

Ida- A woman who has a decent life, job, and husband.

Diane- A very rich and successful lawyer.

Sandra- A woman who is very adventurous!

Julia- A doctor who comes home to 4 beautiful kids.

Cordelia- A woman who will be one of Princess Charlotte’s best friends.

Alice, Ida & Cordelia are my absolute favs.

I dislike Marilla & Sandra.

I’ve always though Cordelia Alice or Alice Cordelia would make a wonderful combo!

I know two preschoolers named Alice and Cordelia. They’re both bright, cute little kids. Alice has a bit more of a temper and Cordelia can be a little dreamy sometimes. But they both seem like kid names to me because of the kids I know.

Julia seems like it could be a name for any age. I’ve known Julia’s from old age to infancy and everything in between. For a classic name, it would be the one to choose.

Sandra is nice but it’s originally a variation of Alexandra via the Italian form Alessandra. So Alexandra nn Sandra might be an idea.

Never heard Marilla, but lovely. You could call her Rilly for sure. Alice, Julia, and Cordelia are nice. Don’t love the others.
