Madelyn vs. Madeline vs. Madeleine

I am in love with the name Madeline/Madelyn/Madeleine! I think the mad-a-lynn pronunciation is nicer than mad-a-line, but I like that one too. Her middle name will be Sophie. Her big sister is Emily Lillian (5). I also like the nn Maddy/Maddie. What is your fav. Spelling of the name?

Madeline is 100% mad-uh-LINE, so if you want the pronunciation mad-uh-LIN, I would probably go with Madelyn. Actually, my favorite spelling is Madeleine, which can be interpreted as mad-uh-lin, mad-uh-line, or even mad-uh-LANE, like the cookie. Up to you.
Maddie/Maddy is not a nickname I like a whole lot, but spell it Maddy if you want to use it.

I like how Madelyn is straight forward.You won’t have to worry about any pronunciation issues with that one.I also like how Emily and Madelyn both have a y.When you write out their names I think it makes them look nice together.I know that might be a silly reason but I think all versions of this name are lovely so I had to look for something that made one stand out!
