How to vs. Honour vs. Denise
My mother is one of the most influential people in my life and my very best friend and I’d like to honour her in my daughters name but drawing a blank in how to do so because I really don’t care much for the name and unfortunately mom has no middle name! Is it possible to use alise or Annalise to honour her? Mother also goes by nickname Dee so I thought I might possibly be able to use something like Caitlin Denise and call her Caidee but I really don’t like Caidee alone! Please help!!! Suggestions are welcome!!!

I think Caitlin Denise nn AliseCaidee is adorable. You could also call her CaDENce AlISE/Elise and call her CaDEE. Ca(DEN)ce El (ISE).

If you give your daughter a first name you love and the middle name Denise, that would be fine. A lot of people honour someone with the middle name. I think your baby’s first name should be something you choose for them.
