Sutton Elizabeth vs. Dylan Charlotte vs. Harlow Madelyn

Hi. We live in LA and are looking for a really cool name for our first little girl, we love unisex names. We envision a name that is modern and stylish. We’d like a more classic middle name that’s definitely feminine. Big brother is Cooper James (4 yrs). To ask for your help. Mix and match or suggest new names and I’ll let you know what I like/What works for us!

My favorite combination would be Harlow Elizabeth. I think living in L.A it would be cool if you went for something a little Old Hollywood and Harlow Elizabeth definitely reflects that.

Other Suggestions:
Monroe Elizabeth
Greer Victoria
Vivien Mae
Arden Sophia
Loren Charlotte
Blair Elizabeth
Spencer Elizabeth
Gable Charlotte
Marlow Elizabeth
Audrey Monroe
Holland Mae
Adair Margaret

Sutton and Harlow are both on my "would never ever use" list, so clearly we have different tastes. I did know at least one girl Dylan who was pretty cool, so while I think of it primarily as boy’s name (I know lots of male Dylan’s/Dillon’s), I think it could work for a girl. Sutton and Harlow I think of only as girl’s names, and more recent/trendy ones, but I just don’t like them at all.

OP here! Thanks for all of your comments. To the second poster, those names are not at all what I’m looking for....they sound out of place with my son’s name! Pilar? Anita? Brindisi? Seriously? So random!

So far I really like:
Briar Charlotte
Devon Amelia
Marlow Elizabeth

Also love the Harlow Elizabeth suggestion

I see Sutton as a strickly boy name. It was actually on our short list for our second son. While Dylan is ok, I wouldn’t use it. My friend (male) gets inapprorpiate jokes about the name all the time. I really like Harlow, especially with Cooper so I voted for it. However, I think Harlow Elizabeth is nicer than Harlow Madelyn.

Sutton and Cooper fit well as they are both Old English names that are down to earth. Sutton means "south settlement," and Cooper is an occupational name for a barrel maker.
I personally would only use Sutton for a boy, but the ius probably because I like boys names on boys. That and it’s the name of my veterinarian.
Harlow Katherine or Katherine Harlow would be great!
Esther is another name that is classic but not mainstream.
You could get more inspiration from looking up Old English boys namnes.

OP here. I’m really leaning towards Harlow Elizabeth right now.

Also like the suggestion of River Charlotte. Will keep more of these in case I have another daughter in the future. I also like Harlow Eden. Any thoughts?

Harlow Eden is nice, but I like it with Elizabeth better.

Personally really not a fan of Harlow. Sounds sort of harsh and is too close to the word harlot for my taste.

Second poster here. I thought you wanted names that stood apart, rather than trying to match with Cooper. Cooper is rather lowly, but I’ll try again. Maybe another occupational name would catch your eye:
Cooper & Chandler (barrel-maker and candle-maker)
Baird (minstrel)
Carter (cart maker)
Colby (coal miner)
Devon (poet)
Ferris (iron worker)
Garner (sentry)
Harper (harp player)
Lister (cloth Dyer)
Mercer (shop keeper)
Page/Paige (young servant)
Prentice (apprentice)
Piper (pipe player)
Sawyer (wood Carver)
Spencer (shop keeper)
Taylor (tailor)
Tyler (tile maker)
Weaver (weaver)
I hope some of those catch your eye, since you prefer unisex.
With Cooper I would also suggest: Caroline, Charlotte, Sarah, Sadie, Jane, Laurel.

I see Ashton a lot now a days don’t get how it sounds girlie. Actually every time I here it I think of the phrase All of a Sudden.

^see it even auto corrects itself I meant Sutton.

The names you suggested sound too masculine for a girl. Since she’s got a brother with a boy’s name, it’s best to give her a more feminine name so people don’t automatically assume she’s the second boy.

Sutton Elizabeth - I love it!
Dylan Charlotte - I don’t like the name Dylan at all. Not because it’s a boy name on a girl, I just do not like Dylan. it sounds bad in my opinion. I’m ok with Charlotte.
Harlow Madelyn - Despite the name Harlow having huge problems, I have to say I like it. I might stop liking it in the future though. Madelyn is alright!
