Allison gmv since it’s a full name. Carrie/Kari is, IMO, a nn for some name similar to Caroline or Carolyn.

My name is Kari so I voted for it but I also like Allison. Kari is definitely a name of the 80’s. I haven’t known that many but most of the ones with my spelling our my age or a little older. I love my name though and it has grown with me just fine. I really can’t imagine being called Caroline or Carol although I do like those names. I think its a matter of taste...my mom is a laid back person so she gave us all informal nick name type names. I on the other hand am giving my kids very full names with lots of nick names...I guess taste in names skipped a generation. I do love my name though so hope that helps.

I like Carrie, you dont hear it too often and there will be many girls named Allison/Allie running around her classroom

Allison is one of the names I would consider for a future child, it’s classic and amazing. I like Carrie but I don’t like it as much.
