I think people might probably notice that both Merida and Belle are names of princesses but it is a beautiful combo and i would go with it:)

My first thought was definitely the princess. Meredith, Maria and Marie are similar options that you might like! I think Meredith especially would sound lovely with Otto and Elodie. Good luck!

Yes, WAY too associated with Princesses. 90% of the world knows the Disney Princesses, and this will definitely get some ridicule. Try Merida with a different middle name. :)

I don’t think anyone would care really. I know more Jasmines than I can count and no one ever brings up Princess Jasmine.

I like the name Merida, and it goes well with your other kids! Yes, it may get associated with the princess but I don’t think it’s a big deal.

Names such as Jasmine, Aurora, and Anna were common names before the princess movie came out. But Merida is much more unique and basically only associated with the Disney Princess. I know like six Jasmines and all of them have Princess Jasmine said to them occasionally. Des it matter? No, Disney Princesses are awesome. But a first and middle name that are obviously Disney Princesses might make people think your parents are obsessed with them. That’s fine though, as I said, Disney Princesses are awesome.
