I don’t have a problem with the name Angus, but I’m not a huge fan of kids having the same first name as a living relative that will be a huge part of their lives. It doesn’t do a lot for letting them develop their own identity, you know? If you want to name baby after daddy, I might consider using Angus as his middle name. Good luck!

Maybe Evander Angus? Then, you can call him Van/ Evan etc. Or Vaughn Angus. I agree with poster 1, your baby should have his own first name. GL!

I am not a fan of Angus. Sorry. I also don’t like a child sharing he same name as his father, especially since they are in the same house. If he was your first son, I might think it would okay, but your other sons might think they are not worthy enough to be named after their father. It would make a great middle name though, or switch around the first and middle; Vance Angus.
