We came across the name Allister/Alastair recently and we are considering using it for our son, due in March. We pronounce it All-is-ter. How would you pronounce it and which spelling do you prefer? Big sister is Amara Catherine. Thanks!

Not saying I’m correct, that’s just how I’d pronounce them.

If it was Alistar I would say say Al-list-a. But Allastair I would say Al-est-er.
