Herminey is not the correct spelling, the correct spelling is Hermione

Hala (Hall-uh). It is Arabic for Halo around the moon and African for unexpected gift. My eight year old is named Hala Meih (pronounced Mae). She is blond and blue-eyed but it seems to fit her great!

I like Hudson and Houston but I didn’t realize they were unisex and I like Hennesey but I kind of would worry that she would get called Hen.. not a pretty image for a girl in high school lol. thank you for your suggestions!

Hala is really pretty, does your daughter have issues with pronounciation at all though?, like do they call her hala (hayla)? I also like Hadley! thank you

Yes, she does get called Hayla and Holly. She says it bothers her but she likes her name. She really likes the meaning. I don’t hear mispronounciations as much anymore and have gotten a lot of compliments on it.
