Brinley nn Brin/Bryn/Brynn vs. Beckett nn Beck/Becca/Becky

Brinley- could we use the Bryn/Brynn spelling as a nickname for Brinley without changing the full name spelling? Beckett- which nickname (Beck, Becky, Becca) do you prefer? Baby girl is joining my sons Benjamin and Maxim (Benji and Max), my step-sons Kordell (Korey) and Michael (Micah), and our daughter Kiersten (Kierce). She will definitely be our last child. ~Andie and Ash

Brinley- Yes, either Bryn or Brynn could be a nickname, but Brin or Brynley nn Bryn would be more convenient.

Beckett- Beck is the best of them, but I’m not fond of this one on a girl.

Your other children’s names are so varied that it’s not a big deal to pin one of these down as the same overall style. I would say Brinley or Brynley.

Shonda Rhimes has a daughter names Beckett, which surprised me. But then again she has a daughter named Emerson too which I never understand why people think that name is cute for a girl. Ick. Anyway, Beckett nicknamed Becky, Everett nicknamed Evie, Emmett nicknamed Emmy, Elliot nicknamed Ellie, seems to be a new "trend" for girls.

Brynn could definitely work for Brinley and it’s adorable. Becky is an awful nickname and Beckett is an awful full name. Brynn is the way to go.

Brinley or Beckett for a girl?
I don’t prefer either, especially Beckett.

Brynn is ok.

Thank you all for your opinions. We will not be using Brynn on its own. If we go with it, Brinley will be her full name. We were on a baby name list site and both names were on the "girl" list. While we can see that Beckett could be used for either, perhaps more so for a boy, we do not see Brinley as unisex. We see it as all girl. Again, thanks for the thoughts
