Hazel is lovely. Hazel Grace or Hazel Charlotte would be great.

Hazel Charlotte would be beautiful.

James is horrible for a girl. She will be teased for sharing the same middle name as 20+ boys in her school and not to mention James is getting popular as a first name on boys too. My middle name is Lynn and there were several boys in my classes with the same middle name and even though Lynn is unisex I still got teased and most kids these days are much more harsh these days it seems.

Hazel Grace or Hazel Charlotte are the only options.

I agree with everyone else

Really, teased because her middle name is James? It isn’t my style but her classmates wouldn’t even now her middle name is James unless she tells them. Today, children are much more used to "sharing" names and it isn’t as big a deal as some people make it out to be on here.

We don’t really want to name her Hazel Grace because of the Fault in Our Stars but if you guys don’t think it’s a problem we’ll take it under consideration...

If you don’t like Hazel Grace then Hazel Charlotte would still be beautiful. I agree that James is just not good for a girl. I’m not sure about her being teased but I don’t think she would like sharing a name with several little boys. And there is a difference between a gorl sharing a name with other girls and a girl sharing a name with a lot of boys. I know I wouldn’t. Give her a beautiful, feminine name, not a masculine boy name.

Hazel Grace is the way to go. I could see your why there would be hesitation but don’t not choose it just because of a book character. I also agree that James is too masculine and I personally do not like the name Charlotte whatsoever.
