List vs. In vs. Comments

Hi Everyone! We have two adopted children, Sebastian John (7), and Arabella Ruby (4). And now, unexpectedly, we are due - and with g/b twins too, despite what the doctors said. We want our children to be very close to their older siblings, even though they are not blood related, so with a little bit of guidance from us, they are choosing their names. Seb has done a name list for the boy, and Bella has for the girl. We will post the names in the first comment, please help us choose the right names. Thank you!

Oliver and Charlotte nn Ollie and Lottie
Zachary and Scarlett nn Zach and Scout

Lillian nn Lily or Eloise nn Elsie would be pretty too!

What a beautiful idea to begin the sibling journey! My picks are Zachary Thomas and Elsie Scarlett (Zac and Seb sounds great, and nice that the girls would both have "red" middle names with this combo).

What a good idea! I like Max, Oliver, Elsie and Lily, and you could find some longer names for these and use Ollie as a nickname for Oliver so all of your kids have nicknames.

You could use both their lists for both babies. A girl name from the girl list and a feminized version of a name from the boy list and vice versa.

Laura Olivia and Zachary Charles
Lily Felicia and Derek Laurence
Anna Maxine or Anna Maxima and Thomas Evan
Eva Harriet and Felix Anakin

Another idea is to gender switch the older kids’ middle names for the younger kids.

Charlotte Jane and Oliver Ruben, for instance.

Wow! Thanks so much for all the feedback. Special thanks to poster 13&14, great ideas that we have put a lot of thought into.
We all made a decision on Charlotte Claire & Zachary Oliver. Thanks again for the help, we are delighted to have made a decision!
