Second poster: Both middle names are Irish and are actually names of a few of our family members. She will be living in Ireland for a few years so I don’t think ’poor kid’ applies to a kid with Irish names living in Ireland. Also, she will be well loved, well fed, well clothed and grow up surrounded by people who already adore the name Bennett. I don’t quite think you disliking a name someone else chose means ’yikes’ and ’poor kid’ apply but thanks for literally being zero help.
Third poster: Bennett isn’t a boy name though. Before we had Bellamy I had people tell me I was horrid and blah blah for giving my son a ’girl’ name. Now I get so many compliments on his name. Also, how exactly is Bennett hard for you to say? It’s Ben-it. Quite easy actually.
Fourth poster: WHAT?! I’m having a girl?????? Better alert everyone because we’ve been assuming it’s a boy! Thanks every so much for telling us that!

The middle names are fine since they’re family names. Bellamy is a boy name. Beckett is a boy name. Bennett is a boy name. Girls have tried to steal Bellamy. Don’t be one to steal another one. Besides that Beckett and Bennett are too close for siblings.

Beckett and Bennett are way too close for siblings. My sister and I have similar sounding names as well and my parents are constantly tripping over our names and calling us the wrong name. I don’t care if you give her a dude’s name but at least give her one that doesn’t rhyme with her siblings. How cheesy.

if you are indeed ’super excited’ about having a girl perhaps you could do her the kindness of giving her a girls name so she doesn’t feel slighted, thinking you hoped for another boy. The middle names are fabulous and Maebh Aoife (or vice verse) would be a great name for a girl, Bennett is not as you can see by the reaction

The fourth poster thought you were having a girl because you stated that you were having a girl, hence first line in the statement. If you aren’t sure that’s one thing but, again, the assumption is its a girl.
