Well, if people think naming their kid Judas is bad, Jonah is just as bad. In the same book where Judas betrayed his friend, Jonah got eaten by a sea monster.

Anyway, so long as you’re not hung up on biblical references to Judas, I say go for it. It’s a nice name.

Even though I like the name, it does have bad connotations...I’d take Judah or Jude instead.
I know two kids named Jonah and they’re not teased about it. I’d say the biblical references to Judas are far worse, but that’s just IMO.
