Lily Violet vs. Lily ?

Is it weird to use a flower name as the first and middle name. My husband wants Lily but I want Violet. I thought Lily Violet sounded pretty together, but wondering if thats a strange thing to do?

I agree with the pp. The name is pretty and feminine. Even though they are both flower names, they are not over-the-top ones like Chrysanthemum Pansy.

i think its pretty. i wouldnt worry about the flower name thing....go for it!

pretty but you can go with
Lillian Violet nn Lily if you want
keeps both names gets your lily but keeps it from being a flower
