Katrin vs. Hubert vs. Fotamy

Hello! My husband and I are expecting our second child together, a boy! We fell in love with Hubert as it is my father’s name, but my father suggested Katrin after my mom, Katrina, and Fotamy just because he loves the name. My dad has been a huge part of my life but we aren’t sure which name to pick! Help us! Thanks!

Katrin I would think was a girl and Fotamy yeah I can see kids twisting that into Fat. so I guess Hubert though honestly it would make a better MN

Katrin is kinda girly sounding. Fatomy is just.. Wow. Not the good "Wow" either, sorry. I think Hubert is a nice, vintage name! And it honors your father. Definitely go with Hubert.

Hubert (not my style). If it works, it’s ok.

Fotamy is rather feminine for a boy. Oh, he’d get a lot of ribbing. The masculine equivalent of Fotamy is . . . ?

Fotamy looks like "Fat Amy" to me. Katrin is really girly. Not a fan of Hubert, but Hugh isn’t bad. It’s the best on your list, so Hubert.

Katrin is a variant of Katherine... so maybe don’t use the name for a boy.
