It’s handsome! Personally I prefer Beau, but Boone is nice too :)

It’s always made me think of Baboon. I’m obviously not a fan, sorry!

Voted no because maybe they will call him [removed] because of the spelling but maybe you don’t mind or maybe no one else will think of that. Like baboon, I didn’t thought of that but now is something I associate too, I wouldn’t worry about other people liking the sound of the name but about possible nicknames and if nothing bothers you that much then go with the name you like regardless of what other people say.
