Lydia Heather vs. Lydia Dawn

Both middle names are after my mother. She has always hated her first name, Heather, but I’ve always liked it. But my husband thinks Lydia Dawn sounds better, Dawn is my mom’s middle name. Which should we go with?

I’d go Dawn, especially as your mother hated the name Heather, I think she’d prefer it if you honoured her with a name she liked. Plus Dawn sounds better. Good luck! x

I did ask my mom which she would prefer us using and she said it didn’t matter because it’s our child and she thinks we should use whichever one we like best. Thanks! ~poster
