Leona is the prettiest to me. I love the softness of it. Viola reminds me of the instrument and Iola of Biola University. Hope that helps!

Yes, Leona is the prettiest.
Iola is a but hillbilly-ish.
Viola is pretty, but dated. Maybe it needs a comeback?

There’s something so regal about Leona (probably the root in Leo -- lion). Viola is also beautiful but because most people I know pronounce it VI-o-la, the strong ’o’ sound is lost more than in Leona. I’m not sure how to pronounce Iola (Yola? Eye-o-la?)
