Kate Lavender vs. Kate Anything else

Help please. We are probably going to go with Kate as the first name (nn Katie) and now want a middle name that is uncommon and fun and possibly plant related since it’s in both of our educational background. Is Lavender asking for trouble? It’s kindda out there but I really like it.

my husband wanted to name our lil girl Violet but it was right after the new willy wonka came out so i said no, so we went with Lily

I don’t think that I would go with Lavender...some other names that would be plant related would be Rose, Lily, and Ivy.

Violet is a gorgeous name, Kate Violet is adorable!

I think Kate with no middle name is very beautiful, it was supposed to be my first daughter’s name, but I went with Brooke instead, but I’mhoping to use KAte for my second daughter!

Kate is a great choice. Its my name and I have always loved it. However... I really think that you should determine the middle name based on your last name and its syllables. I have a 2 syllable mn and although its really dated, I think it flows well. Reason why I think names like Kate Rose dont work as well as maybe Katie Rose.
