Not a fan of Ursula, reminds me of the little mermaid. Rhea is okay. I also like the spelling Ria.

I’ve always heard Rhea as "REE-uh." But I’m in the U.S. Maybe it’s different elsewhere. If you do keep it as "RAY-uh" just be careful with a middle name that is a noun. Rhea Sunshine, Rhea Violet sound like "ray of sunshine" "ray of violet" (i.e., ultraviolet light). Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind. Also, you might like Mireille / Mireia / Mireya, pronounced "mee-RAY-uh" or "mih-RAY-uh." It means "to admire."

Rhea Juniper
Rhea Vivien / Vivienne
Rhea Gabrielle
Rhea Katharine / Kathryn
Rhea Margot
Rhea Parvati
Rhea Lilith
Rhea Callisto
Rhea Victorine
Rhea Sibyl
Rhea Celeste / Celestine
Rhea Nyx
Rhea Jocelyn
Rhea Stephanie
Rhea Maren
Rhea Athenaïs ("ah-then-ah-EES" or "ah-then-AY-is") -- for poll Mom
Rhea Constance
Rhea Madeleine / Madeline

Ursula Clothilde / Clotilde -- ("clo-TEELD"), = famous battle
Ursula Melody
Ursula Briar
Ursula Rosemary
Ursula Meadow / Meadowlark
Ursula Columbine
Ursula Audrey
Ursula Gwen
Ursula Roxanne
Ursula Bernadette -- two name that mean "bear"
Ursula Plum
Ursula Nightingale
Ursula Hazel
Ursula Guinevere
Ursula Jane / Joan

I tried to find middles for Rhea that go with either pronunciation. Sorry for any repeats. I’m so happy you’re going to use Ursula. Good luck! :0)

Oops. The first pronunciation on Athenaïs should be, "ah-ten-ah-EES" not "ah-then-ah-EES"

Rhea is pronounced ray-uh, not ree-uh. I wish people would look up names before they go correcting people on how to pronounced them.

Love Rhea!

I’m in the U.S and Rhea is extremely rare (a good thing!) and it is no doubt without question pronounced ray-ah. That is inarguable knowledge. Anyone pronouncing it differently clearly has never heard of the name. The spelling alone makes the proper pronunciation fairly obvious.

Amazing sibset. I really hope you stick with both names and I agree that one cartoon character should not put anyone off of a name. I also love the suggestion of Rhiannon nn Rhea, but I also adore Rhea on its own. This pair is astoundingly beautiful though, they both sound like goddess names (and probably are, come to think of it lol) and it is just perfect.

Rhea is a rare name, so it’s understandable for people to be confused about pronunciation. It happens and is no big deal.

Actress Rhea Perlman ("Cheers," "Matilda," "The Mindy Project") will be amazed she’s been mispronouncing her name her entire life.

I prefer "HEL-en-uh" for Helena. But if someone else said it was "hel-AY-nuh" or "hel-EE-nuh" I wouldn’t say they were wrong.
