Elodie (Ellie) vs. Yes vs. No

Even if Elodie is not your style, what would you think if someone else chose the name? Personally I really like it and can’t find a name I like better but am nervous about people’s reactions if we choose it because it’s unique and folks around here likely haven’t heard it before.

Beautiful name! Ellie is cute but Ella would be such a beautiful nn! I think Elodie is incredibly lovely, such a great name. Unique is a good thing! Why settle for ordinary. Go for the name YOU love.

not my style, feels a bit trendy, but its not a name were if someone else chose it i would think "thats awful". I think its sort of pretty, just really not my cup of tea.

I love this name and I think it’s gorgeous - Ellie is an adorable nickname. You could also try ’Eloise’ if you want an alternative, but I think you should stick with what’s in your heart <3
