I voted no because I think it would be mistaken for Jude and even though it is an actual name I feel that it sounds too much like a nickname. It also makes me think of judder. Sorry.

I agree with the first poster. Judd sounds a little odd to me. Jude flows much better. Even Jeb or Jed is nice. Judd just doesn’t have an attractive sound compared to some alternatives.

^ Jeb and Jed sound more odd than Judd. Judd would never get mistaken for Jude. Two totally different names. And what makes a name unattractive? That’s just silly. I vote yes. It’s a cool name next to all these Logan’s, Noah’s, Aiden’s etc of the world.

I voted YES. It’s a fine name and does not sound odd to me. I can’t promise it won’t ever be mistaken for Jude. But so what if it does? Names get mistaken for other names all the time. I once knew a Bill who was frequently called Brian for some reason. Doesn’t get much plainer than Bill, but there you have it. I don’t even know what "judder" (mentioned by the first poster) is. Plus, Judd is not one of those names you hear every single day. That’s a big plus for me.
