Katrina has more than one association, at least for me. It’s very pretty and still usable, especially with the nicknames Kat / Kate / Trina. Good luck! :0)
I just don’t like it. I don’t associate it with anything... But it’s just an unattractive name in general.

I like it, and I don’t think it’s ruined by association - maybe don’t if you live around those areas, but it’s fine. Katrina was a name before the hurricane.

I love the name Katrina. The hurricane was terrible, but it was years ago, as as the above poster says, Katrina has a long history as a name.

I know several Katrinas and I think the name is beautiful! I would never attach a tragedy like the hurricane to a person just because they share a name. If you love it, definitely use it!
