Melissa vs. Clarissa vs. Marissa
Hey, we are down to these final 3 names for our daughter. We have a 4 year old son, Joseph Dean . Since getting caught JD has nicknamed the baby Issa (no idea why) so we have decided to incorporate that into her name as we think it would make a cute nickname, but of course we want a full name for her as Issa wouldn’t age well. Which is best? Thank you

I like Melissa. The R’s are too harsh sounding compared to Melissa. Isla is another cute idea.

As a woman named Marisa, I will say that it get misspelled a lot. I love my name, and I wouldn’t change it, but she’ll likely encounter misspellings regardless of if it’s with one ’s’ or two.
