Baby Name Poll Results

This is for my best friend naming her son. One name she is considering for the first or middle is Blake, which I think is nice. She says she has always liked this name, but over some period of time has liked a man named Blake at her job. She has been engaged for about a year. She revealed to me she day dreams about the man Blake from work (who’s married) often. She says she does not flirt with him. He is married and is showing no interest in her. She asked me tonight if it is wrong that she day dreams about him and sometimes thinks about him romantically and sexually. She does not want to leave her fiancé or do anything physical to cheat. And again Blake is a married man. I’m not sure what to tell her. Is it (morally) wrong for her to day dream about him? Is it cheating to think about someone other than your partner? Should I agree that it’s okay to use the name Blake? It seems this day dreaming has went on for quite some time and she says she has not flirted or acted differently. Thank you for your help.

I think she could still use the name.

Daydreaming is harmless. If her and her partner really like the name then I don’t see the problem is using it, it’s not like she is naming the baby after Blake from her work.
