I feel like Madeline should technically be said with the line ending rather than the lynn ending.
(sort of like Carolyn vs. Caroline)
Although I admit it’s one of those names that people pronounce different ways and don’t really follow "the rules" so to say.

Overall I just think Madeleine looks prettier!

I love Madeleine. So sophisticated and elegant looking. My husband does not like this spelling, but he doesn’t understand the traditional/French spelling. It looks very sophisticated and educated especially in comparison to the rising Madalyn.

Yeah don’t use the Madeline spelling because people will probably pronounce it like made-line (when made-lynn is so much prettier) spell it Madeleine or Madelynn

I think it depends on where you live. In the NW where I live "Madeline" would be pronounced "Mad-uh-lyn." I’m kind of with your husband. . . Madeleine looks complicated and gives me pause on how to pronounce it.
