Harper and Avery are also both last names, yet I’m pretty sure they’re in the top 50, maybe even top 20 for girls

Cari! This is more of a personal opinion, so feel free to disregard, but the name Collins has majorly squicked me out since reading Pride & Prejudice. The character was so puffed up, odious, subservient and sycophantic, yet conceited...and actually quite blasphemous because despite being a clergyman, he treats Lady Catherine with more reverence than he does God. The character is just so awful and such a toady whenever I hear the name in real life, I actually have a physical response and shudder out of revulsion. So yeah, Caribis prettier and doesn’t have that association.

I voted for Collins because I’m afraid people will keep mispronouncing Cari

Collins gets my vote.
I think Cari is going to give you major problems with pronunciation issues.I think most people will just think it’s a unique spelling of Carrie.You,and later she,will have to constantly correct people and explain how to say it just as you had to do in the intro and that’s going to get very frustrating.

I don’t think there will be many pronunciation issues with Cari. It’s very close to Cara and CAR-uh is more common than CARE-uh.

Ditto on the yuckiness of Collins after Pride and Prejudice. I’m sure she’ll read the book or see one of the films one day and be a little peeved at the association.
