Baby Name Poll Results
Dillon, Daniel, & Derek vs. Liam, Theo, & Phoenix vs. Isaac, Wesley, & Jared
So we really really like Dillon(spelling stays), Daniel, and Derek for our triplet boys first names but a lot of people seemed really against the idea of them having the same first initial because then they wouldn’t have as much individuality apparently. I mean the names are all pretty much completely different besides the D, is it that bad of an idea? That being said we also have Liam, Theo, and Phoenix and Isaac, Wesley, and Jared as sets. We have other sets we like along with these as well. We know their middle names will definitely be Gordon, Thomas, and Maxwell. Please vote for your favorite set, DON’T switch them around please! Also pair the names of the set with the middle name you like best with it. Thanks. ~Shelby

Liam Gordon, Theo Thomas, and Phoenix Maxwell without a doubt! DDD are too boring of names for me and I feel the same about IWJ.

Take it from a multiple. Mom gave me and my sister too similar names with same initial (Sierra and Sarah), we’re fraternal, and still had to explain who was who.
If they were born individually would you still give them all D names? If you’re answer is no, then you shouldn’t do it to multiples. It’s not cute.
Go with different initials. Liam, Theo, and Phoenix are my favorite. Liam Thomas, Phoenix Maxwell, and Theo gordon.

Again please do not switch then around.
With as much as we like Dillon, Daniel, and Derek both individually and together I do believe we would have used all 3 them if the boys would have been born separately. We just really like all 3 names, even more than the other 2 sets that are listed, and want to use them. But I don’t want to look like a bad mother just because I gave my triplets the same first initials. And like I said Dillon, Daniel, and Derek have distinctively different sounds besides the D. Thanks so much for your input though. ~Shelby

I don’t think it’s a bad idea to use the same first initial, but I don’t like any of the D names. Strong favorite is Isaac, Wesley, and Jared.
