Madison vs. Rylie
I’m pregnant with my 1st child who is a baby girl. We’re really undecided about what to name her. I want something that sounds pretty but also has a nice meaning and not too popular. Madison, Rylie, and Marie are the top names we’ve thought of. (Marie as a middle name). I’m open to any and all suggestions. Thanks in advance.

To me, both these are names are popular and not very pretty/feminine. Madison means "son of Maud" so it’s not really a nice meaning either.
Kiera - "little dark one"
Annora - "honour"
Eva - "life"
Callista- "most beautiful"
Heidi - "of noble birth"
Jolie - "pretty"
Matilda - "battle-mighty"
Alice - "noble"
Anna - "grace"
Iris - "rainbow"
Caia - "to rejoice"

Madison and Riley (or Rylee or Rilee or Rylie or Ryleigh, ect.) are quite popular. Both are also very trendy.
Marie/ia is going to be your best bet for a less popular name. Neither Marie or Maria are even in the top 100 right now. Or you could alter it to Mariel or Mariella. Both of those are between #100 and #200 for popularity.
Other ideas based on Madison and Riley that are outside the top 100:
Rita
Rhiannon
Amberly
Cecily
Rosalie
Everly
Jolie
Tamsin
Other names in a similar style:
Vale
Calla
Avalon

BTW Madison has meaning for us because we both live on Madison Avenue a block away from each other. It’s kinda how we met.
And Marie is after his late mother whose name is Mary. Rylie doesn’t have meaning for us, it’s just a name that my boyfriend really likes. I didn’t really care for it at 1st but now I’m in love with it.
I adore Rylie (I prefer Ryleigh spelling though).
