I don’t think so - there was a point when it was boring because it was used so often. I’ve never met a little Jane, so it will actually seem quite unique. If she finds it boring, she could always go by the nickname Janie maybe?

I voted "no" by accident...I’ve personally never been too fond of the name, but to each their own. GL.

Jane is not boring at all. Love Jane. It has quiet strength. When I think of the name Jane authors, queens, artists, social reformers, etc. come to mind. I love the confidence of one syllable names too.
