I love Primrose. I’m guessing you love the sound of the name, not just the meaning. So I don’t know that Briallen would be a great alternative. Lorelei is lovely (I, too, prefer this spelling). But I’m seeing it so much on the polls lately. I’m already getting a little bored with it.

I voted for Primrose. Idky but Lorelei just doesn’t do it for me. All I here is the "lie" part and think of Laurie the liar instead.

I think I see what you’re going for, but the word "prim" bothers me in a name. It doesn’t have a positive meaning. Also, if your daughter ends up being more of a rough and tumble girl, the name Primrose will seem absurd.

I, too prefer this spelling of Lorelei. My MIL’s name is Lorelei and she seems to like it fine. She doesn’t have a middle name because her mother though Lorelei was strong enough and pretty enough on its own.
Her sister’s name is Elsa, just for another idea.
