My husband and I are due in March! We are having a baby girl and want to name her EllaCate! I either need to decide not to give her a middle name or find one that goes with EllaCate Henderson. Thanks for any suggestions!

I think Ella Cate ’middle name’ looks better.
Ella Cate as a double first name is much easier to read, I read EllaCate as EllaCat first time round.

What about Ella Catherine?

Ella Cate would be so much better. It doesn’t look like a double first name when it’s smushed together. The pronunciation might sound like Ellec-ate. You can still have a middle name too.

Ella Cate Emilia
Ella Cate Magnolia
Ella Cate Victoria
Ella Cate Juliet

Defecate comes to mind with Ellacate. Ella Kate or Ella Katherine n Ella Kate.

I love the sound of Ella Cate Christine!! No need to put Cate up next to Ella, though. People will be able to say a two syllable name. It’s not too long. If you feel strongly about combining it. I’d do Ella-Cate. I think it looks nice just as Ella Cate.
