We Love vs. Navy Juliana vs. What Should We Do(Read Description)

I made a poll trying to decide between Nova snd Navy not too long ago and even though Nova won we still love Navy more. A lot of people on that poll said Navy is fine on it’s own, we love Navy Juliana, but my mom thinks it bad and wants us to use Nadine Vivienne but still not call her Navy. We don’t really like either Nadine or Vivienne at all. We know Nadine Vivienne will be better in most people’s eyes but we love just Navy and the combo of Navy Juliana. We have also considered adding a second first name to Navy, would that make it better? Feel free to leave suggestions for double first names with Navy and middle name Juliana but we definitely don’t want anything like Navy Rose, nothing super descriptive you know?

Go with Navy Juliana! It’s pretty, unique and most importantly - you love it!

It’s your chuld, name her what YOU love. You will regret naming her something you don’t like in the future. Plus, Navy Juliana is gorgeous!

Navy as a nickname for Skye maybe as in navy Skye

I’m not a fan of Navy and don’t think it will she well. But I just read an article that said if you absolutely love a name, you should use it because you will regret it.

I feel like Navy as a nickname for Skye is a bit of a stretch. I get the whole "color of the night sky" association but I just don’t feel like it works for us, thanks though. We do like Navy Kate as a double first name. Thanks. ~PollPoster

I don’t Love Navy Juliana, but it isn’t bad. I dislike Nadine Vivienne though a lot! definitely don’t use that one. I say go for Navy Juliana or maybe Navy Julianne.

We will be keeping Juliana as her middle name if we stick with just Navy but thank you for your comment! ~PollPoster

If we use Navy we would really rather have it as the first name because we love it so much. Plus we just don’t really like it as a middle name. We aren’t really huge fans any of those other options either though. Naomi is okay, it just doesn’t have the same charm as Navy does to us. I have a nephew named Ivan so Ivy is not an option. Thanks though. ~PollPoster

Don’t use Nadine Vivienne if you don’t like it. It’s not your mothers baby!

Navy is definitely not my favourite - I prefer Nova - but it’s ok. A full name would be better with Navy as a nickname but I can’t really think of one. Maybe Genevieve?

A lot of people suggested different full name ideas for Navy as a nickname and we just didn’t like any of them. Genevieve is nice, but we don’t like it enough to actually use it even if we will still be calling her Navy all the time. Sorry if we seem difficult right now, we are just kinda picky and want to actually like all of our daughter’s name I guess. Thanks. ~PollPoster

Navy Juliana sounds fine and if you really love it use it, I’ve heard much stranger names TBH it’s not that out there!! Hazel, Violet, Blue, Azura and Cerise are all colour baby names that I know

If you do go with Navy, I would not do a double first name. Navy Kate sounds just a little too cheesy.
My thought is that Navy will only be cute while the baby is little, but I can’t picture it on a teenager if that makes sense.
