Help vs. Me
Hi I made a post earlier trying to decide on a name for out first baby girl that rolled well with our boys. Grier Elisabeth was the popular vote and I love Grier but the husband loves Weiss. Do you guys have any solution for a compromise. We would love to incorporate Fae or Elisabeth after his late sister but if we can get both of us happy, it would be great. Out sons are Atlas, Capron, and Merrick.

Weiss is the German word for white. I get the desire to have a unique name, but I think this particular name (word) will cause her grief. Especially given the racial divide right now in the States... (assuming that’s where you live, not that being named "white" would be much better in other countries).
Greer is the spelling I’ve usually seen for this name. I think it’s nice and unique enough.

I’d use family surnames in the middle name slot and go with something more like an Elisabeth variation (there are tons of them so you can probably find one you like) for the first name.
