Jemima was a name for far longer than it’s been on bottles of corn syrup (because let’s be honest, that stuff is NOT real syrup and there’s not a drop of butter or anything maple in it). It’s a Biblical name and sounds very posh/British to me. It reminds me of the little girl from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang too!
