I keep thinking Abilene is a city in Texas or something- I could be way off though. Do you say Amira with a long E (a-MEER-a) or a long I sound (a-MY-ra)?

Sorry for the delay in response. I have been saying "uh-MY-ruh", but I kind of like "uh-MEER-uh" too.
