I am not a big fan. I definitely prefer just Cheryl. However, Cherilyn isn’t offensive or ridiculous sounding...so if you like it, there is certainly nothing wrong with naming your baby that.

I knew a Sharilyn once. I think it’s a very pretty name, but not one I would use personally for my daughter....that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do so if you love it.

Its like a combo of two names I can’t stand into one super terrible name: Cheri & Lynn.
Like the first poster, I too prefer Cheryl or even Cheryl Lynn.
Again, nothing wrong with it, not my taste, but I imagine your daughter will hate it, as well as her classmates who live in this century.
