No! Maude is such a frumpy old lady name. Don’t do this to your daughter. What about changing it to Olivia Maude?

Maxine is better than Maude, but still not great. Sorry...any other ideas or are you open? Do you want it to be an M name? I would post a new poll.

ok...I’m probably not on the best website but I’m American and my husband is French canadian. We lived in Canada for a long time but just moved to Napa Valley.
I don’t want an American name like mine (Summer).
It needs to be bilingual!

Come on people! If she wants an old-fashioned name why suggest the trendiest name ever? Kayley?

Don’t go with what your daughters suggest. They’ll learn to love any name you choose.
My old babysitter let her son choose the name for his baby sister and her name came out to be Gretel Moon
How terrible is that?

In that case, Maxine is a great name, but still not my favourite.
Is Kayley really that popular? I’ve only ever met one and it was spelled Kaili because she was Estonian.

Still, Maude, is extremely outdated and I live near Napa Valley! Your kid would be made fun of.

When is baby due? Natalee is french and the frecnch meaning is born at christmas. For a december baby girl this would be cute. Natalee Olivia.
If you are having a spring baby Maia would be nice. In Roman mythology Maia was the Goddess of spring growth. Just some suggestions. Good luck!

Amia- french meaning dearly loved.

I like Maude, it’s french, but maybe it isn’t pronounced the same way where you live, but here in Quebec it is really beautiful. Maxine I hate though. I knew a girl named that and she was always mistaken for Maxime (boy). Not Maxine.

Maude here is Modd. I guess it could be Mode? But I can’t find any other pronunciations.

Maude Olivia. To each their own. If you and your family like it - then go for it. Maybe you can come up with a great nickname.

Best of luck to you.
