Vera, Alice and Jane or Vera, Alice and May!!

Jane is beautiful, it sounds gorgeous! Flows well with your other other children's names! I've always thought June sounds a little harsh and is bland

Jane is too plain IMO. Unfortunately June now makes me think of mama June ( I don't know if you're familiar with the Here comes Honey Boo Boo show), she ruined the name for me. I love the suggestion Juniper! It would give her more options of names to go by as well. GL

Jane gmv. Agree with ^ June just sounds harsh to me, I even have a family member named June but she goes by her middle name because she doesn't like it. I'm not fond of month or season names either.

Jane isn't plain at all imo, I think it's sweet, sounds beautiful when anyone says it. Pair Jane with a long middle name maybe?

June has more pizazz than Jane IMO. Jane to me is so boring as a first name and it makes me think of the saying "plain Jane".

June gets my vote.

Wow we like Juniper, thanks!

My middle name is Jayne, always loved it! Jane gmv

Jayna is better than just Jane to me. I just think June can stand on it's own but I too like the suggestion Juniper.

Jane to me Should only be used as a middle name. I realize June is also a one syllable name but I much prefer it to Jane.

My son has a friend named June at school (7 years old), she gets picked on for having "an old persons nane"

We were considering spelling it Jayne, do you think that would give it more "pizzazz"?? -poster

No, spelling it Jayne would only add confusion imo. She would be constantly correcting the spelling of her name. If you must use Jane, spell it the original way. I think Juniper would be the best choice. gl

To the poster that said June is an "old lady name" so is Jane and most of the names that are currently trending. The old names are in so if that the case, your son must have a lot of friends who are teased for having "old" names.

I also vote for Juniper. June is cute too though. GL

May gets my vote. But you can't go wrong with any of these. And I do like Jayne spelled this way.

June has spunk. Jane is boring imo, even spelled with a an unnecessary Y. Ann is dated and much to plain to me and May isn't bad but I much prefer Maeve.

May definitely. So sweet with Vera and Alice.

Jane, May and Ann all work with your daughters' names.
I like Vera, Alice and May (:

I love the Jayne spelling!

I like June best. I wouldn't use Ann since you already have an A name, Vera may feel left out. May is okay. Have you considered Nora?

I like Ann/Anne best! Other short and sweet classics I adore are Rose and Kay!
posted by Spreadkindness :: 6 years ago | report
I agree with Paige that Ann is another A name and may make your other daughter feel left out. June or Juniper gmv.
