It's fine although I've always found it a bit tacky when parents name kids after themselves

It's ok. I wouldn't use it just because it's in both of your names though. If you love it then go for it. But the most important thing is that you both love the name.

I like the name, however when you have another child you may want to name them after yourselves as well so I wouldn't do it, except as a middle name.
