I’m looking for a fn for a boy that is different. I would like to honor his grandfathers as well, but not necessarily use their names. I would like the name to start with a J. Their names are John Douglas, Fred Wilson, John Linton, and William Preston (that’s where I got Liam as the mn). Thanks!

The only thing that we could come up with so far is Jackson...Jack(nn for John) and the -son part from Wilson. We like Jackson, but I feel its too popular and am looking for something a little more unique..

both are made from the letters in Fred and John.
I also like Jonah and Benjamin, even though they don’t come from the grandfathers.
