Charla vs. Yes vs. No
I was watching tv last night and on the show I was watching there was a girl named Charla. Charlotte has always been one of my favorite names but I don't want to use it due to popularity so I'm starting to think Charla could be a good alternative. I'd love to hear an outside opinion on this name. Suggestions are welcome as well. Joining big sister Millie Joanna. Thanks, Bethany

I was also going to suggest Charlotte with the nn Charla, that way you could still use a name you love but use a less popular nn so it separates her a bit from the other Charlottes. Another idea is Charlene nn Charla. GL

I'm really not trying to be rude , but to me it sounds more like a horses name for reason. I think there are prettier names you could find for her.

I don't like Carla or Charlene at all, but I do like Charlyn. I'm not keen on nick names so I don't think I would use Charla as a nick name either. Thanks so far! Bethany
