Mindy as a vs. full name?

I think it could be used as a full name. It reminds me of Mandy or Daisy or Daphne. All short and pretty. But if you were concerned and want to give your daughter both options you could call he Mindy all of the time but give her a full name as well. That way she can choose for herself as she gets older.

I like just Mindy. If you wanted a longer name Melinda would work.

It's fine on it's own. I don't think it is short for anything.
